Justin Timberlake left fans furious with his surprising announcement hours before his last U.S. show of 'Forget Tomorrow World Tour'.
The 44-year-old singer was truly "heartbroken" as he turned to Instagram on February 27 to excuse for skipping the musicale as he was unable to sing due to “the flu and now it’s gotten the best of me.”
He apologised by saying it “kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen.”
But the Sexyback singer reassured his fans that they will “be getting refunds for your tickets. I love you all.”
This is not his first cancellation in the nick of time, as admirers recalled Bye Bye Bye hitmaker calling off his performance in October 2024 few hours before taking the stage, due to an unrevealed injury.
The fans of the 10-time-Grammy winner flooded the comment section with warm wishes for the popstar, with one even calling this the “best tour.”
Although, many music lovers understood his condition and asked him to keep his health a priority, the concertgoers were annoyed by the act.
One user, disappointed at the late notice, penned down on the said post, “We will never buy tickets from you again!!!!!”
Another fan demanded him to come back by saying, “If you feel bad you would make it up to us and actually perform!!”
For the unversed, Justin Timberlake announced his return to the global stage after wait of five years by starting the Forget Tomorrow World Tour on April 29, 2024, which spans over 50 cities.
