Keith Richards celebrates 40 years of marriage with wife Patti Hansen

Keith Richards, along with his wife, Patti Hansen, recently marked a milestone in their journey together, 40 years of marriage.

The Rolling Stones star took to his social media on Monday, December 18, to wish the love of his life on their special milestone.

He penned a brief yet love-filled caption, accompanied by heart emoji, for his beloved wife, “For Patricia, Happy 40th Anniversary! I love you. Keith”.

The anniversary post featured a blast from the past as the singer-songwriter chose to post a throwback photo of the couple from their wedding day.

In the shared photo the couple can be seen slicing into their three-tier wedding cake, with Keith holding his wife close to himself, following their nuptials.

The pair tied the knot at a beach side wedding venue, evident from the background of the snapshot, adding to the charm of the moment.

Keith, whose birthday and wedding anniversary fall on the same date, received warm birthday wishes and heartfelt congratulations from fans and friends alike.

The American model and actress, Christie Brinkley, gushed over the post with a row of red heart emojis, “A legendary love of a lifetime. So BEAUTIFUL‼️And Happy Birthday to the fabulous groom!”

The couple, who have been married for four decades, exchanged vows in 1983 and share two daughters; Theodora Dupree Richards, 38, and Alexandra Nicole Richards, 37.

The loved up couple has been together since 1979 and first crossed each other's paths at Studio 54 during Hansen’s 23rd birthday.

Nine months later, Mick Jagger’s then-girlfriend Jerry Hall invited the Hard to Hold actress to Richard’s 36th birthday and both began dating.
