George, Amal Clooney: Prince Harry, Meghan Markle lose out on another A-list friendship

Meghan Markle has reportedly lost out on another Hollywood friendship as the Duchess of Sussex allegedly is no longer close with megastar George Clooney.

According to reports, in the midst of news of the former royal’s relationship with her pals breaking down, it emerged that the Clooneys were no longer pals with the Sussexes despite having attended the couple’s wedding.

Mail on Sunday reported that the two are no longer "bosom buddies" who they were reportedly very close to with Meghan having visited the couple at their Oxfordshire and LA home.

Clooney and his wife Amal even made an appearance at the Prince’s Trust Awards back in May but it was now reported that the Hollywood couple no longer wants to be close to the former royals.

While the reason for this has not been disclosed, this comes after a list of A-listers reportedly ditched the couple.

Reports claimed that Katy Perry and her fiancé Orlando Bloom were close to the pair given that they were neighbours in Montecito but it was now no longer the case.

"Katy was close at one point but she has been travelling a lot so it's been hard to sustain a close friendship," a source said.

This comes after it emerged that David and Victoria Beckham reportedly withdrew their friendship.

The pair, who were guests at the couple's 2018 wedding, were thought to be the pair's closest friends.

However, their relationship reportedly turned sour when the Beckhams were accused of leaking stories about Prince Harry and Meghan, which reportedly left David fuming.
