Prince Andrew’s crisis is far from over. Just days after the release of Andrew Lownie’s explosive biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, the author says even more insiders are now coming forward, fuelling plans for a second tell-all set to hit shelves next summer.
Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, Lownie revealed a surge of sources who previously stayed silent are now “coming forward in droves” with new stories about the Duke of York, 65.
Many, he claims, felt they had been protecting Andrew out of “misplaced loyalty” and now want to paint the “full picture” of the royal’s private world.
Lownie also hinted that some allegations were omitted from the current book for legal reasons, leaving plenty of material for a sequel.
The Duke has not commented on the latest claims. His ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who features prominently in the biography, has also remained silent.
Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly keeping their distance as the fallout intensifies.
With Entitled is already dominating headlines, covering finances, alleged staff behavior and controversial associations, news of a follow-up threatens to extend Andrew’s public reckoning well into next year.
If Lownie’s pipeline of royal confidants holds, the Duke could be bracing for another wave of damaging revelations.
