Prince William, Kate’s decision could change Britain forever

The future King of United Kingdom, Prince William, with his wife Princess Kate, have decided to move to a new “forever home”, Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park.

It has been reported that the Prince of Wales intends to stay in the property even after he accedes to the throne.

The news has instilled a sense of fear for the future of the iconic royal residence, the Buckingham Palace.

It was almost 80 years ago when the German bombs struck the Buckingham Palace during the Second World War and the Queen Mother stood in the debris sending the message of resilience in those testing times.

The palace, that King George VI refused to leave during WWII, has been long considered a symbol of pride for the royal family and Britain.

However, things could change as the future monarch has made the decision to move to a new place, leaving many to wonder about the long-term fate of the iconic palace.

The royal couple have resided in the four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage since 2022 with their kids, George, Charlotte and Louis.

The family has spend some of the most difficult days in the residence, including Queen Elizabeth II’s death and Kate’s cancer diagnosis.

Buckingham Palace is the British sovereign’s official London residence and in near future could be a palace without the King.
