YouTube Music podcast support gets loved internationally

YouTube Music just updated with podcast support.

YouTube Music has made a significant step toward strengthening its platform and services by launching podcast support globally. According to 9to5Google, this innovation delivers a revamped user experience where Podcasts join mood filters on the Home page.

Late April saw the launch of podcasts for American customers, and they are now becoming available in Brazil and Canada. Users can choose how they want to explore curated feeds, suggested shows, and a range of categories, such as sitcoms, role-playing games, and ghost stories. These categories were customized to users' unique interests when checking the Podcast tab on the YouTube Music app, so your app may display different ones.

The Library tab now contains Podcasts in addition to other filters like Playlists, Songs, Albums, and Artists in an effort to better organize the information. This setting offers an auto playlist of New Episodes from subscribing shows and previously stored Episodes for Later, allowing users to easily access their preferred content.

All users, not just those with a YouTube Premium subscription, have access to special features including offline and background playback.

One thing to keep in mind is that, as of right now, all of the available podcasts have to be uploaded to YouTube as videos, so you could already be familiar with some of the ones you see.
