Olivia Rodrigo enters her sad song era with new album

Olivia Rodrigo, renowned deja vu crooner has sent fans into a frenzy with major announcement.

The 23-year-old star disclosed her brand new album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.

The third studio record will be released on June 12 via Geffen Records as per the traitor artist revealed.

The pop superstar posted the news in social media and wrote, "I am so proud of this record and I can't wait for you to hear it." 

In addition, pre-orders are still in progress. The edition has a parental advisory sticker.

Rodrigo, in an interview with British Vogue last month, said the follow-up to GUTS of 2023 would consist of "sad love songs" on the obsession and anxiety of romance.

She explained to realize that all of her favorite romantic love songs were beautiful as they had a hint of fear or yearning.

The update was soon celebrated by fans, singer Leah Kate wrote, "THE DAY WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR."

Another plus-size model and influencer Bridget Saric wrote, "This cover and title AHH I just know it will hit."

The album is the first since Rodrigo released her 2024 GUTS deluxe edition and comes after a sold out world tour. 

It is pertinent to mention that information regarding the song listing and first single are not disclosed yet.
