Lily-Rose Depp assures 'nobody lost their minds' while filming The Idol

Lily-Rose Depp is putting her weight behind her leading show The Idol.

The 24-year-old actress opened up about the gravity on the set of the show, revealing that no one went “full Method [actor]” while filming it, however, she noted: “Well, sometimes when Abel would get — I don’t want to reveal too much about where Abel’s character goes, but when he would be in full Tedros mode sometimes, I would steer clear of him. I’d be like, ‘He’s in his zone right now.'”

Nevertheless, she assured to Entertainment Tonight that “nobody lost their minds,” contrary to the ongoing controversies around the show.

The actress also stressed that “the vibe on set was quite lighthearted,” and added: “We’re all really good friends and we all are similar people and really understand each other.

“We were having a lot of laughs, listening to a lot of music, dancing around, and that kind of energy is what made the heavier moments easier and possible,” Depp shared.

The Idol has been under strict scrutiny following its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival last month, which introduced the audience to raunchy portrayal of Depp and other female characters.

Rolling Stone also unveiled a feature on the upcoming show earlier this year, reporting about the alleged graphic abuse in it.
