Jonathan Major's legal battles have caused problems for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the studio may have change its policy due to Jonathan Majors performance in Loki.

A surprising change in Marvel Studios has put a damper on the Phase 6 of the MCU, according to Collider.

The company is bringing about a change after witnessing Majors appearance as He Who Remains in the season one finale of Loki.

Majors returned as Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania with his performance universally regarded despite the film being ignored majorly.

In the movie’s post credit scene, it was teased that Kang and his many variants will be proliferated in MCU.

It was thought that the next Avengers film will vbe based on his character, The Kang Dynasty.

Those plans were foiled when Majors got arrested and charged with assault causing the company to press pause in its plans, affecting Phase 6.

The studio insisted that it has yet to give a statement but it is clear that the appearance of Majors is dubious.

Joanna Robinson, of Vanity Fair, and the writer of MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios has claimed that it was never the intention to make Kang the rock around which MCU revolved.

Marvel only changed its mind after seeing Majors in the performance of Kang.

In conversation with Collider, she said, "It was not the plan to make Kang the center of everything until they saw the dailies from 'Quantumania' and after his performance in 'Loki,' which was so strong they were like, 'This is it. This is our way forward."

"We’ve lost our varsity hero team, but let’s set up around this guy Kang and this performer that so many people are reacting to. 'We know this is a huge problem for them that they are facing and grappling with right now.

And what’s unprecedented in this for Marvel is, I would argue they have never hung so much of a franchise on one actor, as they tried to hang it on Jonathan Majors after his 'Loki’' performance and his 'Ant-Man: Quantumania' performance.

"I would argue more than Downey as Iron Man, more than Brolin as Thanos, that hanging everything on this guy is then going to pop up in all of their properties leading up to something called 'The Kang Dynasty' has put them in a very unusual position.

They don’t usually hang this much on one person in the way that they did here".

As of yet, Majors has refuted the accusations .

The latest trailer for the second season of Loki does include him despite all the legal issues and despite the problems he faced at the end of Quantumania.

Loki season 2 will release in October.
