'St. Elmo's Fire' Reunion: Demi Moore and Andrew McCarthy feel 'So Great to See' eachother

St. Elmo's Fire’s costars Demi Moore and Andrew McCarthy are so happy to reunite.

At the weekend, Demi Moore and Andrew McCarthy took part in a little Brat Pack reunion.

McCarthy, 60, praised his old co-star and revealed he's working on a "Brat Pack documentary" about the group of 1980s teen actors that also included Rob Lowe, Molly Ringwald, and Emilio Estevez while posting a picture of himself and Moore together on Instagram.

"So great to see (for the first time in years and years) my St. Elmo's Fire co-star, the wondrous Demi Moore, and catch up for my Brat Pack documentary," McCarthy, 60, wrote next to the picture of Moore and him, which he paired with a picture from their 1985 movie.

McCarthy made her big-screen debut in St. Elmo's Fire, and Moore made hers after leaving General Hospital.

McCarthy starred in Pretty in Pink (1986), Mannequin (1987), and Weekend at Bernie's (1989), and Moore led a string of '90s classics like Ghost (1990) and Indecent Proposal (1993), among others. They both went on to act in several more of the era's legendary teen-focused films.

McCarthy transitioned to directing episodes of shows including Gossip Girl, Orange is the New Black, and The Blacklist while Moore continued her starring career.
