The piece, Relax, has been declared to be under production, which features how the pop group of the 80s, Frankie Goes to Hollywood arose from obscurity.

The film will be made by Bernard Rose, interestingly also the director of the music video for their song, Relax.

The actor Callum Scott Howells, who achieved stardom with   Its a Sin, a Russell T Davies' show that was set in the time of Aids, would be playing the role of the band’s lead singer, Holly Johnson.

His memoir, A Bone in My Flute, will be the background for the piece.

The pop group was formed in the heyday era of the 80s when good music was plentiful.

Their singles,  Relax, Two Tribes, and The Power of Live were hits and became #1 in 1984, however, two of these were also censored by BBC due to their sexual suggestions.

Thus, the first album was securing pre-sales of more than a million despite latter releases being less proactive, after which the lead claimed a lawsuit against the record and went solo.

For the first, the band reunited in 36 years is none other than Liverpool, where they played one song,  Welcome to the Pleasuredome, as a component of a pre-Eurovision concert.

Now, the film being made is focusing on their lead’s story as in his memoir.

Producing it are Working Title and Independent Entertainment.
