FBI: Kim Kardashian had stolen money in trash bags from billionaire turned fugitive Jho Low

Kim Kardashian has largely remained out of trouble from legal authorities however the reality TV star was grilled by the FBI over her involvement with billionaire turned fugitive Jho Low.

Back in 2019, the reality TV star was sat down by the feds and was questioned about her history with Low, whose real name is Low Take Jho.

The reason behind the interview was because Low reportedly embezzled millions from 1Malaysia Development Berhard (1MB) government fund and used the money to pay for expensive celebrity entourages to party with him in Las Vegas.

According to Bloomberg Businessweek, among his long list of celebrity connections included Kardashian, who admitted to accepting large sums of money and gifts in the duration of her relationship with Low.

She first met him in 2009 when he had paid her $50,000 to make a two-hour appearance at a nightclub in Vegas for his birthday.

She went on to admit that she once flew home to LA from Vegas carrying a trash bag filled with $250,000 which she won in a Baccarat session that was staked by Low.

She went on to carry another $100,000 in a similar fashion for a second time to take her complete winnings of $350,000.

As per the FBI summary, the Skims founder told agents that she and Low partied together six times and received $250,000 and a new white Ferrari as a wedding gift when she married NBA star Kris Humphries in 2011.

Kardashian added that Low also gifted her ex-husband $100,000 for purchasing fireworks for the ceremony, which the fugitive attended.

"If any of the gifts or cash Kardashian received from Low can be traced back to the money he allegedly stole, Kardashian may need to turn it over to the Department of Justice, according to reports. Low’s former girlfriend, Miranda Kerr, was forced to do just that in 2014 with $8 million in diamond jewelry Low gifted her," the report detailed.

It didn’t end there, in fact, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star went on to narrate an incident involving her ex-husband Kanye West.

She shared that Low had offered her a Jean-Michel Basquiat painting but West, in his typical flamboyant fashion, demanded a Monet piece.

The request, the agents details was "to mess with Low because both Kardashian and West found Low to be very fickle when giving gifts, and never expected to actually receive a painting."
