Tommy Fury gears up for 'much needed family time' after Jake Paul fight

Tommy Fury is giving an update after his winning stint against Jake Paul over the weekend.

The 23-year-old boxer took to his Instagram stories to announce his return from Saudi Arabia where he was for a boxing match with YouTuber Jake Paul.

After a nail-biting exhibition, Fury eventually ended up taking the crown by a split decision after two out of three judges scored in his favor.

“So guys I have landed back soundly and safely with the family,” the Love Island star said on the video. “I just want to say a massive thank you to all the people that have sent me lovely messages, it means the world to me.”

“Thank you to everyone who turned out to the fight it wouldn't have been the same without you guys. We did it we got the job done,” he continued.

“Now it's time to spend some much needed family time!” Fury gushed, adding: “I can't wait to see what options we have on the table come next week but until then guys take it easy.”

“Still on cloud 9. Can't thank you all enough for the love. Means the world to me,” he captioned the video.

Fury’s update comes after his girlfriend and mother of their daughter Bambia took to Instagram to reflect on bad days leading to the match.

“It definitely wasn’t a straight or easy road, we had some seriously not so good days behind closed doors…” she wrote on Instagram.

“but Sunday night made it all worth it,” the reality TV star added.
