Selena Gomez defends 'best friend' Taylor Swift after Hailey Bieber MOCKS her

Selena Gomez has got Taylor Swift's back.

As old video of Hailey Bieber making fun of Taylor Swift surfaced, Selena Gomez defended her as her "best friend."

The retro video featured Taylor's score-settling songs being attacked by Hailey and Method Man, who used to co-host the show Drop The Mic.

Hailey imitated throwing up as Method Man hinted of a rap fight with the "meanest songs about a celebrity since Taylor Swift's last album."

The video was shared on TikTok with the caption, "This is REAL Hailey "Bieber,"" calling Hailey a bully and a "mean girl."

Selena, 30, jumped into the TikTok comments and wrote, "Sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game," adding fuel to the fire.

Since 2008, while they were both teen idols dating two separate Jonas Brothers, Taylor and Selena have been friends.

Justin Bieber, who later wed Hailey in 2018, had a long-running on-off relationship with Selena throughout the intervening years.

The two women have denied having a tense relationship despite Selena followers' constant trolling of Hailey on social media.

When they hugged up to one another for the cameras at the Academy Museum gala in Los Angeles in October, they even went viral.

Selena later told Vulture in an interview that the photos with Hailey were "not a big deal" and "it's not even a thing."
