The Daily Show to be hosted by ‘GUESTS’ until Trevor Noah replacement

The Daily Show is looking for someone new.

Until Trevor Noah's replacement has been found, The Daily Show will be hosted by guests.

Deadline reports that the well-liked late-night talk show may consider adding more presenters, possibly a couple or a trio.

The replacements for Wanda Sykes, D.L. Hughley, John Leguizamo, Marlon Wayans, and Hasan Minhaj appear to be Chelsea Handler, Kal Penn, Al Franken, Sarah Silverman, and Leslie Jones.

It's hardly surprising to see Handler take over The Daily Show when Jimmy Kimmel was out due to illness as she just covered for him during the summer.

The other guest hosts on The Daily Show also have a tonne of previous experience hosting late-night shows. While Silverman also presented I Love You America with Sarah Silverman, Penn previously served as the show's host on Kal Penn Approves This Message. Not to add that Jones and Franken have made several appearances on Saturday Night Live.

After serving as host of The Daily Show for seven years, Noah will end his tenure there on December 8.
