BlockBerryCreative has announced the removal of LOONA’s member, Chuu, from the group.
The entertainment agency released a lengthy statement on Nov. 25, where they detailed the reason for removal – the 23-year-old singer’s misbehavior with staff members.
“We are releasing a statement to notify fans that we have decided that our agency artist Chuu will be expelled and withdrawn as a member of LOONA as of November 25, 2022,” the statement read.
They clarified that neither the agency nor the girl group release any statements against Chuu’s actions as an attempt to avoid conflict and trouble within the group.
However, the decision to her removal comes after being informed about Chuu’s “violent language and misuse of power toward our staff.”
“Agency representatives are apologizing and comforting staff, and we have decided to take responsibility for this and remove Chuu from LOONA.”
In the statement, BlockBerryCreative formally apologized to the staff and the fans so they can “heal” and ultimately “return to their normal lives.”
“The agency will do everything possible to give back for the staff’s sacrifices and devotion so something like this never happens again,” they said.
“We once again bow our heads in apology to the involved staff and the fans for causing trouble with this incident,” the statement concluded.
