Throwback Friday: Kim Kardashian in sabyasachi graced the cover of Indian Magazine

Model Kim Kardashian expressed her dire love for desi clothes as she shared a picture from her 2018 magazine photoshoot. 

Kim had landed on an Indian's Magazine cover and became the talk of the town in sarees and lehngas designed by ace artists.

For the inside photos featured in the magazine spread, Kim wore several outfits by Indian designers such as Anita Dongre, Anamika Khanna, and Sabyasachi among others. 

The reality star graced the pages of Vogue India for the first time ever and in the cover interview with the magazine she revealed, "The sarees, the jewellery, the clothes — everything was so beautiful! I told my show (Keeping Up With the Kardashians) that we have to figure out how to get to India." 

Soon after the pictures went viral social media users went in a state of frenzy with some arguing that the magazine covers should highlight Indian models rather than Western pop culture stars. 

Kim is quite used to all the trolling and did not take this criticism too seriously by a section of Indians. 

Her model sister Kendall Jenner also posed in for Vogue India's 10 anniversary.
