Reese Witherspoon’s company to make classic children's story ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ movie

Reese Witherspoon and Sarah Harden’s production company Hello Sunshine and Build-A-Bear Entertainment are collaborating to create the reimagining of the classic children's story Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

On October 5, the news was confirmed that the kids and animation division of Reese Witherspoon's company Hello Sunshine is gearing up for a classic children's tale.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will be a modern spin on the classic tale which will center around the role of a powerful female protagonist.

Claire Curley, will serve as the executive producer along with Build-A-Bear’s Sharon Price John and Foundation Media Partners’ Patrick Hughes. 

This is the first time Witherspoon's company is partnering up with Build-A-Bear, the global family-friendly branded toy, and entertainment company.

As per the outlet, the movie's executive producer told in a statement, "We’re excited to collaborate with them to bring a new perspective to such a timeless tale that we know will inspire young audiences."

Witherspoon's company Hello Sunshine produces movies that are usually women-centric. The company is also home to Reese’s Book Club and the newly launched RBC App.
