Cameron Diaz 'Back in Action' after Jamie Foxx convinces to unretire

The Mask-famed actress Cameron Diaz announced her "un-retirement" to star in an upcoming Netflix feature Back in Action.

The news broke on Wednesday when Jamie Foxx posted a call recording of him and Diaz on Twitter.

On the call, the 49-year-old actress exclaimed that she was feeling anxious and excited about the announcement she is going to make. To calm her down, Foxx brought in Tom Brady in an effort to coax the formerly retired actress back from her long-term break.

"I was talking to Jamie and he said you needed a few tips on how to un-retire. I'm relatively successful at un-retiring," Brady said.

The 44-year-old star quarterback has gone back and forth about ending his career before.

"Cameron I hope you aren't mad I recorded this, but no turning back now. Had to call in the GOAT to bring back another GOAT," Foxx wrote on his Twitter.

The Shrek voice actress also shared a shot of the voice call to her Instagram Story with a message of her own.

She wrote: "Jamie Foxx, only you could get me back in action!!! I can't frickin wait it's gonna be a blast!"

Foxx, who will serve as one of the feature's executive producers, also pointed out that the movie was set to go into production later this year.
