Actor Ryan Gosling recently looked back at the early days of his career which have evolved since and even spilled the beans on his ongoing goals.
When Gosling first started out in Hollywood he would consider almost any role that landed in his lap because he wanted to be able to pay for basic health insurance and other utilities.
In an interview with British GQ, the La La Land star admitted, “I felt my job was just to get work. I was trying to pay my rent and maybe get some health insurance.”
He added, “I later had the opportunity to just take on roles that would challenge me but I soon realized that my movies were not being viewed by a mass audience. I’ve tried to look for films that can work for us both.”
Previously, Gosling earned the title of a Bollywood sweetheart with his debut in the Jewish neo-nazi film titled The Believer.
