Rihanna receives glamorous recognition for her outstanding work

Rihanna was honoured with the National Hero Award by the PM of Barbados, Mia Mottley, at the republican celebrations held in her hometown, Bridgetown, this Monday.

The singer made a stylish entry at the lavish event among large crowds only to be welcomed by the Prime Minister.

Rihanna was given a glamorous introduction at the ceremony, "May you continue to shine like a diamond and bring honour to your nation by your works, by your actions."

For the event, the Love the Way You Lie singer sported a brown dress with a halter draped around her neckline along with a flowing silhouette paired with expensive brown stilettos that completed her party look.

The star- studded ceremony was attended by numerous notable leaders and dignitaries like Prince Charles.

Rihanna was recognized for her outstanding contributions to the music industry and was named the wealthiest female musician in the world after gaining her billionaire status.
