‘The Handmaid's Tale’ season 4 set to premiere in April, new teaser is out now

The popular Hulu series The Handmaid's Tale is returning on screens with season 4, with the intense war of June (Elisabeth Moss) against Gilead after her escape. 

The teaser of the upcoming series promises an intense fight ahead and continues her journey with unexpected, new challenges.

The upcoming series’ teaser has been announced on Thursday that the drama will premiere with its first three episodes on Wednesday, April 28 on Hulu.

The streaming platform’s press release said, “Season 4 will pick up where the story left off. June/Offred strikes back against Gilead as a fierce rebel leader, but the risks she takes bring unexpected and dangerous new challenges.”

"Her quest for justice and revenge threatens to consume her and destroy her most cherished relationships," it continued.

Based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, the series follows June in a dystopian world called Gilead following a Second American Civil War, where women are oppressed and only used in society for their fertility.

The teaser shows, June appearing to be out of Gilead. She’s no longer wearing her handmaid's wardrobe but sporting a yellow sweatshirt and blue baseball cap while walking with a backpack through an abandoned city street.
