Riz Ahmed reveals he is married to US novelist Fatima Farheen Mirza

The popular Pakistani-British actor Rizwan Ahmed, who is better known as Riz Ahmed, has revealed shocking news to his fans that he is already married.

The Sound of Metal star has been off the market as he revealed details earlier this week on broadcaster Louis Theroux’s podcast Grounded and later on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon show.

While speaking of his marriage, Ahmed shared that he met Mirza in New York while he was preparing for his latest film.

“She’s an amazing novelist. We met so randomly while I was preparing for this role, for Sound Of Metal when I was in New York,” he said.

As the US Today reported, the 38-year-old rapper joked about the secret wedding as he said, “It’s a weird one because we live in a social media age if you don’t get on the megaphone about stuff it’s like, it’s a secret. But I never know how much is oversharing.”

Ahmed’s wife Mirza is a New York Times best-selling author. Her famous books include A Place for Us. She was raised in California, according to the details available on her website.
