Queen Elizabeth's cousin pleads guilty after sexually harassing a woman

Queen Elizabeth's cousin is under fire after assaulting a female guest at his ancestral home.

Simon Bowes-Lyon, the current Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to the sexual assault of a 26-year-old woman in February 2020

According to the reports, the assault lasted for 20 minutes where the royal tried to force himself on the woman, pulling her nightgown.

The woman, who was a guest at Bowes Lyon's home of Glamis Castle in Scotland accused him of barging into her room asking for an affair. Upon refusal, the Queen's relative tried to grope and kiss her.

As the woman pushed him out of the room, he tried to enter again until the next morning when she launched a complaint to the police.
