With Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's marriage lasting more than 70 years, it would be short of an understatement to say that their marriage did not face any troubles.
Seeing that they lived in the public eye there have been many reports of infidelity that pointed mostly to Prince Philip, thanks to Netflix series The Crown, however, there has been growing speculation about the Queen's relationship with a different man.
According to The Telegraph, the monarch was said to be interested in a man she called Porchey who was speculated to be Henry George Reginald Molyneux Herbert, Lord Porchester.
Seeing that the two had special interest for horses, he became her racing manager and the two would often travel together, as per royal historian Robert Lacey.
However, it seems that the two were just friends considering that his wife accompanied him and the monarch during their travels.
Lacey previously told People that Porchey was just "a sensitive, quiet man who shared [the queen’s] passion for horses."
Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith added on to Lacey's statement saying, "I would not go beyond characterizing them as old friends who had a very deep bond in this mutual love of horses, and horse breeding and horse racing. They were extremely fond of each other, but I have no reason to think that it went any further."
