Prince William hints Prince Harry drama is what 'overwhelms' him the most

Prince William has confessed that the one thing that leaves him feeling “overwhelmed” isn’t the weight of the crown, but family matters, hinting at his rift with Prince Harry.

The Prince of Wales, 41, opened up while guiding actor Eugene Levy around Windsor Castle for an episode of The Reluctant Traveller. 

When asked whether the historic castle and its legacy ever feel overwhelming, William admitted: “I don’t get overwhelmed by history. For me, it’s family stuff.”

The heir to the throne explained that his royal role no longer phases him in the way it once did: “Not now anyway. When I was younger, yeah, there are bits that overwhelm you, a bit like, ‘Wow, are we actually doing this?’ But with time and age, I think you feel a bit more settled.”

Instead, it’s personal matters that weigh heavily on him. “Worry or stress around the family side of things overwhelms me quite a bit,” William revealed.

“When it’s to do with family… that’s where I start getting a bit overwhelmed, as I think most people would, because it’s more personal, it’s more about feeling.”
