Shania Twain pens a quirky birthday wish for Brad Pitt: 'Tweet of the year'

Twain decides she is going to let herself be impressed by Pitt on his birthday after 1997 song

Hollywood's heartthrob, Brad Pitt, celebrated his 57th birthday this Friday.

Amongst many stars who wished him was also the famous singer, Shania Twain. The That Don't Impress Me Much vocalist, who wrote this particular song for Brad Pitt in 1997 finally decided that she is going to let herself be impressed by the Oscar Winning star on his birthday.

"Happy Birthday to Brad Pitt," she tweeted. "I'll make an exception for today." 

Twain's very mischievous comment left fans into splits.

Of course, her fans appreciated the pun. "That should impress him, much," one follower wrote. Added another, "Amazing. That's the tweet of 2020." 

For the unversed, Shania Twain wrote this song for Brad Pitt after she saw his nude photos in Playgirl. In 2017, the singer revealed, "I was writing this album and there was a scandal of [Pitt] and Gwyneth [Paltrow] where there was naked photos of him [in Playgir]," Twain told the outlet. "I just thought, 'I don't know what all the fuss is about.' I'm like, 'Well that don't impress me much, I mean what is all the fuss? We see people naked every day.'"
