Kaylee Hottle dies at 18: Officials reveal details of accident

Kaylee Hottle’s fatal car crash is under investigation as authorities have revealed fresh details about the incident.

According to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, the actress was one of three people in a 1995 Honda Accord when the car went off Windsor Road in Ijamsville, Maryland, early on July 21 and crashed into a culvert.

The sheriff's office said the driver suffered minor injuries, while another passenger declined treatment.

However, as per DailyMail, Kaylee, 18, was rushed to a trauma centre, where she was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, Kaylee's father, Joshua, later confirmed her death, in a Facebook post, he wrote, 

"I am taking a flight that I never would like to take," while traveling from Texas to Maryland to bring his daughter home.

For the unversed, the actress was widely known for portraying Jia in the Godzilla x Kong films.

Following her passing, the Texas School for the Deaf shared a tribute, saying, "Our hearts are with Kaylee’s family, friends, classmates, and everyone who knew and loved her during this incredibly difficult time."
