Sharon Osbourne recently paid tribute to her late husband Ozzy, urging his fans to remember him in a unique way on his first death anniversary.

The TV personality, who was married to Ozzy for 43 years, spoke to BBC and described her late husband as authentic as well as genuine and funny.

“He never tried to be anything other than what he was, and he would tell you the truth about everything and that was him, you knew where you were with him,” said Sharon.

Sharing insights into her relationship with Ozzy, the media mogul noted, “We could have the worst arguments in the world but we would end up laughing because he would say something so ridiculous that we would just crack up.”

Reflecting on Ozzy’s legacy, Sharon urged his fans to listen to music if they would like to honour him.

“As Ozzy would say: when you want to remember me, just yank up the music really loud, as loud as you can get it, and just head bang,” she added.

One year on, Sharon talked about the future, hoping that Ozzy Day would continue as part of the star's legacy.

“This is the home of metal,” she spoke of Birmingham. “It's Ozzy's home, it's where he was born, what he loved and [Ozzy Day] wouldn't work anywhere else,” noted the media personality.
