Jade Thirlwall hints at private heartbreak before split

Jade Thirlwall appears to have subtly hinted at the end of her relationship with Jordan Stephens weeks before reports surfaced that the couple had quietly split after six years together.

The former Little Mix star, sparked speculation during a June interview while discussing work on her second solo album. 

Without mentioning Stephens directly, Jade revealed she was drawing inspiration from personal experiences.

"I'm just writing stuff. Whatever I'm going through at the minute, like privately, I'm sort of putting pen to paper," she said, adding that she was in an "experimental phase" creatively and unsure where the record would ultimately lead.

According to Daily Mail, the comments have gained renewed attention after multiple outlets reported that Jade and the Rizzle Kicks singer ended their relationship earlier this year following discussions about their future. 

Moreover, neither Jade nor Stephens has publicly confirmed the split.

According to reports, the pair remain on good terms despite deciding to go their separate ways. 

A source claimed they had a "serious and loving relationship" but ultimately chose to separate after honest conversations about their long-term future. 

As per the outlet, friends are reportedly hopeful the pair may reconcile, although the breakup is said to remain fresh.

Fans had already begun speculating about trouble in the relationship after the couple reportedly skipped publicly marking their sixth anniversary and Stephens was absent from several recent events attended by Jade.
