Kelly Clarkson surprised fans with an unusually candid confession during her Studio Sessions residency in Las Vegas, recounting a recent hotel bathroom mishap that left the audience laughing.

Speaking to concertgoers at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the Grammy-winning singer admitted she feared she may have contracted cyclospora, a foodborne parasite recently linked to contaminated produce in the United States.

"This is TMI, but I'm gonna go ahead and say it," Clarkson told the crowd before describing how she suddenly began feeling unwell during a performance the previous night.

According to Daily Mail, she said the experience became significantly worse after returning to her hotel room, joking that no romantic partner would have wanted to witness what followed.

The 44-year-old compared the incident to the infamous food poisoning scene from the 2011 comedy Bridesmaids, saying, "Bridesmaids ain't got s--- on what happened in my room."

Moreover, she also joked that one unexpected comfort was the heated toilet in her hotel bathroom.

Clarkson laughed off the embarrassing moment, assuring the audience she felt much better by the time she took the stage.

As per the outlet, she also poked fun at her dating life, quipping that she would probably remain single until she found "another weird" person who matched her sense of humor.

The singer's comments came as health officials continue monitoring a rise in reported cyclospora infections across the United States, with thousands of cases recorded this year.
