British actress shares her experience working with her husband as a director in ‘A Quiet Place’
Emily Blunt recently made rare comment about her husband John Krasinski.
The British actress admitted that she was unsure about her husband directing a movie, A Quiet Place at the time.
In her latest interview with Wall Street Journal, Emily spoke up about her husband, saying, he would never forget the first day of his director duties.
The Devil Wears Prada actress recalled leaving the set of A Quiet Place on the first day of shoot.
“I had left it rather till the last minute to go, ‘Do you know how to shoot a movie?’ Because I don’t know how to shoot a movie,” explained the 43-year-old.
Emily told WSJ that her director husband asked her, “I am just wondering, if you know what you are doing.”
“And then actually, the drive home was clearly like, I’d had an awakening seeing that this person who I thought I knew everything about had this sort of secret power,” pointed out the Disclosure Day actress.
Gushing over John, Emily added, “It was really amazing seeing this whole other superpower that he had, and I don’t think he even knew what he was capable of doing.
