Emily Blunt’s husband recently shares his valuable reaction to his wife Emily Blunt’s Hollywood Walk of Fame honour.
In his latest interview with Extra, the actor, who is busy promoting his new action thriller, Jack Ryan: Ghost War along with his costar Sienna Miller, looks happy when asked about his wife being honoured last month.
“It’s a pinch-me-moment in every single way,” says the 46-year-old.
John tells the outlet that it “was a real full-circle moment,” and “certainly overwhelming for Emily to, first of all, be getting a star, which is such a beautiful ceremony”.
The IF star points out that this “stuff just doesn't happen anymore”.
“It felt very old Hollywood. But to have her standing up there with him was unbelievable,” mentions John.
It is pertinent to note that Emily received the honour a day before the release of her new movie, The Devil Wears Prada 2.
Looking at its importance, John thinks that the movie was very much “like The Office for me,” was for her.
A Quiet Place actor believes that this cult movie was the “explosive moment that brought her into this career of hers”.
Therefore, John adds that she “owes so much to it and is so thrilled”.
For the unversed, Emily was honoured alongside his costar and brother-in-law Stanley Tucci on April 30.
John states that the “relationship she had with Stanley was one of a kind and clearly it has been because it’s lasted this long”.
