Tom Hanks recently offered unique marriage advice to Taylor Swift ahead of her wedding with fiancé Travis Kelce.

The legendary actor, who has been married to Rita Wilson for 38 years, was asked to share the secret to long-lasting marriage at the Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles.

“The man must make the waffles on Sunday,” suggested the Oscar winner while speaking to E! News.

Elsewhere in the interview, Tom, who gives voice to Woody, also shares his thoughts on Toy Story’s track, I Knew It, I Knew You.

The Forrest Gump actor confesses that he and other cast members didn’t have a clue about Taylor’s song.

“We were told the day it came out,” states the 69-year-old.

Tom quips that the creators “don’t trust us and there is a brain trust that goes along that I am not a part of”.

However, for Taylor, it’s like her dream came true to be part of Pixar’s most important franchise.

For the unversed, Taylor and Travis got engaged last year after two years of dating.

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that the couple are all set to tie the knot next month at Madison Square Garden.
