Emily Blunt, who is working with Steven Spielberg for the first time, shares her honest experience on his movie set.

The English actress is currently busy promoting Steven directed upcoming movie, Disclosure Day, by giving interviews and press meetups.

In this regard, Emily sits down for The One with WSJ. Magazine to discuss her experience on Steven’s movie set.

Calling it “fun,” the Oppenheimer actress gushes over the director, saying, “He is so available as a person.

“If you want to ask him endless stories about E.T. or Indiana Jones and you want him to tell you move stories, he’s just available and joyous as well as buoyant to be around,” explains the 43-year-old.

Emily mentions that she’s really “amazed by his spontaneity and he doesn’t pre-plan anything like nothing’s mapped out”.

“He gets there; he feels it. It was such a vibrant experience watching him work and you why he’s the greatest of all time,” points out the Devil Wears Prada star.

Elsewhere in the interview, Emily reflects on how Steven plays a pivotal role in Hollywood.

“I don’t know where cinema would be without him and what he’s done. Yet he doesn’t wear that like as his front foot,” states A Quiet Place actress.

Emily notes, “He’s just a kid wanting to tell stories and wanting to bring you into the fold of it in every way. It was so beautiful.”

Interestingly, the actress admits that she was “kind of bereft when the film ended”.

“I felt like I needed to like stare at a wall for a day. I was so sad,” she adds.
