Olivia Rodrigo may be one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, but when it comes to heartbreak, she insists she's still figuring things out like everyone else.

The 23-year-old singer has opened up about navigating life after her split from actor Louis Partridge, with the former couple reportedly ending their romance towards the end of 2025 after dating for around two years.

Speaking candidly to Dazed, the Vampire hitmaker admitted she's no relationship expert, joking that she'd be the "blind leading the blind" when it comes to handing out love advice.

But if there's one thing that's helped her through difficult times, it's the support of her closest friends.

Olivia revealed that leaning on her inner circle has been crucial during life's toughest moments.

The deja vu singer said that she doesn't know how she would have coped without them by her side.

Rather than viewing heartbreak as purely painful, the chart-topping star believes break-ups can offer valuable lessons.

She explained that the end of a relationship can be an opportunity to realign your life and discover more about yourself, describing the experience as "raw" but ultimately worthwhile.

The songstress, who previously dated fellow musician Joshua Bassett, also reflected on how growing older has changed her perspective on rejection and heartbreak.

She confessed that the devastating split she experienced at 17 remains the toughest emotional challenge she's ever faced.

Furthermore, she added that heartbreak seems easier to process with age and experience.

While she stopped short of discussing her own romance with Louis in detail, the Grammy winner appeared optimistic about the future, saying that over time, disappointments in love, friendship and work become less personal and easier to accept.
