Jeremy Clarkson faced one of the most emotional moments in the history of Clarkson’s Farm after saying goodbye to the pigs he has raised at Diddly Squat Farm, leaving the television personality visibly upset and in tears.
In the latest season of the hit Prime Video series, Clarkson revealed that despite his affection for the Oxford Sandy and Black pigs, the animals were no longer financially viable for the farm.
After reviewing the economics of pig farming, he concluded that keeping them would continue to generate losses, forcing him to make a heartbreaking decision.
According to Daily Mail, the emotional farewell unfolded as several pigs were loaded onto trailers bound for an abattoir.
Moreover, Clarkson admitted he had grown deeply attached to the animals over the years, describing them as a source of happiness on the farm.
While farm manager Kaleb Cooper attempted to reassure him that the move was necessary for the business, Clarkson struggled to hide his emotions.
As per the outlet, the situation became even more poignant when two of the original pigs, named Clumsy and Swizz, were relocated to an educational farm rather than being sent for slaughter.
As the pair departed, Clarkson tearfully bid them farewell before reaching out to girlfriend Lisa Hogan for support.
Realizing he was crying, Hogan embraced and comforted him, praising the care he had given the animals throughout their lives.
