AMC excites fans with new 'Walking Dead' installments

AMC, American Movie Classics recently teased fans with an announcement regarding the horror franchise, The Walking Dead.

The announcement revealed that the long-time lovers are finally getting the sweet fruit for their patience as it was revealed that there will be two installments.

The statement read that The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3 will be kicking off in two months from now on July 26, 2026.

The episodes of the upcoming series will be premiering on AMC cable television network and its premium streaming platform, AMC+.

It was also revealed that the series would have a maximum of eight episodes, featuring a continued storyline from season one and two.

It is to be noted that the series, which is directed by Lauren Wolkstein, Kevin Dowling, and Loren Yaconelli, will star Lauren Cohan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Gaius Charles, Lisa Emery, and Logan Kim.

Notably, the story follows when character Maggie, who is played by Aimee Garcia decides to follow the man who killed her husband and saves her son, Hershel, from a sadistic former savior known as "The Croat.”

For the unversed, season four of the franchise doesn’t have a release date as of yet as everyone is currently focusing on promoting the forthcoming season.
