Hilary Duff has hinted that baby number five is firmly off the table after opening up about the painful reality of her last pregnancy.
The former Lizzie McGuire star, now 38, admitted her body was sending her a very clear message while expecting daughter Townes, and it sounds like she’s finally ready to close the chapter on motherhood.
Speaking candidly on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast, Hilary revealed her fourth pregnancy pushed her to the limit physically and emotionally as she tried to juggle life with four children.
The Younger actress, who shares son Luca with ex-husband Mike Comrie and daughters Banks, Mae and Townes with husband Matthew Koma, confessed: “By my third trimester… I was in a lot of pain. I think my body was like, ‘We don’t need to do this again.’”
A Cinderella Story star explained she struggled to keep up with her energetic children while heavily pregnant, saying she could barely manage climbing bunk beds, running around and staying on her feet all day.
And while many celebrities describe pregnancy as magical, she admitted she has never been a fan.
“Hate being pregnant,” she confessed bluntly, adding that she loves becoming a mum but finds the physical toll incredibly difficult.
Still, Hilary insisted every sacrifice has been “worth it” now that she’s enjoying feeling like herself again.
The actress also reflected on ageing while celebrating her new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover shoot, admitting she feels more confident than ever as she approaches 40.
