Kanye West recently shocked his ex-wife Kim Kardashian as he reportedly filed for full custody of oldest daughter, North West.
The rapper, also known as Ye, wanted to raise her under his and Bianca Censori’s guidance to become one of the world’s most successful musical artists.
However, the American Horror Story actress strongly opposed the decision and also prepared to battle it out in court.
Kim opened up that she wanted North to follow in her footsteps as a reality star rather than pursuing a music career.
For the unversed, the former couple, who finalised their divorce in 2022, agreed to joint legal custody of their four children.
But Kim claimed that she’s raising their children “full-time” during her appearance on Call Her Daddy podcast last year.
“It’s probably been a couple months since we’ve heard from him,” she told host Alex Cooper.
Earlier this year, the rapper took to X in a since-deleted tweet and complained that the All’s Fair star “was restricting his ability to parent”.
Meanwhile, Kim replied during the season seven of The Kardashians, “It’s a divorce, not a kidnapping.”
