Playboi Carti, North West face backlash for unusual outing

Playboi Carti, who had a beef with Kanye West, was called out for his outing with the rapper’s daughter, North West.

The 30-year-old musician was pictured with the young rapper at the Rolling Loud which became a matter of intense debate online.

Many criticised the Miss The Rage crooner for a picture that went viral online with one X user pointing out: “This girl hanging around grown [redacted] men, Kanye is needed in her parenting.”

Another netizen questioned his mother, writing: “How does Kim Kardashian feel about this?” While a third was of the opinion: “This is not a good idea.”

The two were spotted together at the festival, sparking rumours about an upcoming collaboration.

North recently debuted her first EP N0rth4evr on May 1, 2026 and earned support from the Yeezy owner and his wife Bianca Censori.

The two made an appearance at a promotional event for her project where they showed off their piercings on their faces to back the young rapper.

On the other hand, Kim supported North by decorating her home and making special arrangements for her.

Why is Kim Kardashian criticised?

It is to be noted the SKIMs owner is usually criticised for her parenting style. The backlash started after the rapper debuted her bold styling sense and piercings on her hands.
