KJ Apa appears to have had enough of Mr. Fantasy seemingly featuring him in videos, and has shared his truth on social media.
The Riverdale actor’s breaking point came with the musician’s Do Me Right music video which includes cameos from former co-stars , Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, and Madelaine Petsch, and he claims that he is not the man behind the disguise as fans suspect.
In an Instagram post, the Australian actor said that the whole charade has been “hurting me and my career.”
He continued, “There was recently a music video that was released that included a bunch of people who are really close to me by a guy who’s completely and utterly stolen my image and misappropriated my image and my likeness, and I think we all know who we’re talking about, and it’s f***ed up.”
Apa never mentioned Mr. Fantasy by name but added that he lost on a big opportunity and can no longer get serious roles because people think he’s a joke.
The Clocks singer noted in the caption that enough is enough and that he won’t let someone ruin his life this way, with fans still convinced that he is the One Last Night singer.
