Kesha shares emotional confession about cosmetic procedures

Kesha has opened up about the “horrible filler phase” she went through after years of brutal scrutiny over her appearance in the spotlight.

The 39-year-old Tik Tok singer admitted she became consumed by cruel comments about her body and looks, confessing she often treated online criticism “like the word of God”.

Speaking candidly on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kesha revealed the pressure to live up to impossible beauty standards pushed her into trying cosmetic fillers, a decision she now deeply regrets.

She said: “God, that sucked. Because I was like, ‘Oh, that’s what I should do.’ And then I’m like, ‘I actually don’t like the way that looks.’”

The pop star explained that being a woman in the entertainment industry can feel like a constant battle, especially with the pressure to stay forever youthful.

Kesha said: “It’s this constant dance with society on what it does mean to be a woman and what is acceptable. We’re not supposed to age. 

Trust me, I don’t want to. But I don’t know what else to do.”

The chart-topper also reflected on her whirlwind rise to fame, admitting her sudden success left her terrified.

Before becoming a global superstar, Kesha was living a far more chaotic life, sleeping in a “Drunk Tank” punk house before landing massive opportunities in the music industry almost overnight.

She recalled: “A year and a half later I’m opening for Rihanna. It was terrifying, but it was so fun.”

Despite growing up on food stamps, she said music became her escape and inspiration, explaining that happy songs helped people survive difficult times.
