K-Pop band BTS stands tall at Mexico’s Presidential Palace after successful concerts
BTS members paid a visit to Mexico’s Presidential Palace and rolled out a short notice about their appearance.
The last-minute call did not stop a huge crowd of nearly 50,000 people gathering at the Presidential Palace.
Their fans watched as the musicians addressed the crowd with the most noticeable being Taehyung’s speech in Spanish that sent fans into a frenzy.
On behalf of all the members, he expressed gratitude for being invited to the country as part of their ongoing global tour.
The 30-year-old admitted that they miss “Mexico a lot,” admiring the “incredible” energy from the fans. He gushed: “Thank you so much for admiring us.”
The Permission to Dance songmakers waved bye to everyone with a promise to return next time.
After sold out concerts, the singers are going to Stanford California for their concerts that are scheduled to take place on May 16 and 17.
The massive turnout indicates their strong influence around the world, being able to gather crowd within five hours.
