Jamie-Lynn Sigler has lifted the lid on what she now calls the “big mistake” marriage that turned her world upside down at the height of her fame.
The former The Sopranos star was only 20 when she married ex-manager AJ Discala in 2003, believing he was her “lifeline” as she struggled to navigate sudden fame and adulthood.
But in her explosive new memoir, And So It Is... A Memoir of Acceptance and Hope, the 44-year-old actress admits the relationship quickly spiralled into heartbreak, financial chaos and regret.
She claims she later discovered a six-figure sum had mysteriously vanished from her accounts after the couple split in 2005.
According to the Love Wrecked actress, money from her Sopranos pay cheques would land in her company account before chunks were allegedly moved elsewhere without her knowledge.
Jamie-Lynn confessed she was left stunned when a forensic accountant explained the movements of money she never even realised she had.
Despite the shocking discovery, The Christmas Note star insists she no longer wants answers, writing that the missing cash is “a chapter I want closed forever”.
The memoir also revisits the whirlwind romance that swept her off her feet.
She described AJ as “handsome”, “charismatic” and impossible to resist, admitting one intimate moment in the back of a car “changed everything”.
But cracks soon appeared as Jamie-Lynn revealed she once exploded after discovering messages between AJ and his ex on his phone, screaming at him to leave before firing and dumping him in the same breath.
She also hinted late co-star James Gandolfini may have quietly disapproved of the marriage after mysteriously missing their wedding.
