Uma Thurman recently opened up about her action-thriller, Pretty Lethal, which was released on March 25, 2026.
The American actress had a conversation with PEOPLE at the movie’s premiere, held at the 2026 SXSW Film & TV Festival in Austin, Texas, on March 13.
The 55-year-old revealed about her co-stars and what went on behind the scenes, while describing it as “mind-blowing.”
Uma stated, “My part wasn't as stunt-heavy as the other actresses in the movie, so it wasn't hard for me in that way,”
The movie, directed by Vicky Jewson, stars Maddie Ziegler, Lana Condor, Avantika, Millicent Simmonds and Iris Apatow.
She added, “They did all their own dancing and stunts, and they were working together with a stunt team to create this incredible action sequence.”
Despite not having much action in this movie, the star is known for her hard work and for putting in the effort required to become the main character.
Talking about Uma in her hit movie Kill Bill, Maddie confessed at the 2026 SXSW event that she is a “badass” and they always look up to her for inspiration.
For the unversed, the new movie has received mixed reviews as of yet, with 60% ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.
