Patsy Kensit has shed light on a painful period from her past, revisiting the heartbreak tied to her high‑profile relationship with Oasis singer Liam Gallagher and the circumstances that led to their originally planned wedding being called off.

Kensit, whose personal life has long fascinated the tabloids, has rarely spoken publicly about the episode, but recent remarks have resurfaced interest in the turbulent chapter, as per Daily Mail.

Kensit, known for her roles in both film and television, married Gallagher in April 1997 in a brief civil ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall, just months after an earlier plans to wed were abruptly cancelled amid intense media scrutiny.

At the time, their record label confirmed that obsessive paparazzi attention had made it impossible to proceed with a private ceremony, forcing the couple to rethink their plans.

In a new rare comment, Kensit acknowledged that the intrusion and aftermath left a lasting mark, suggesting in interviews that the relentless spotlight and pressures of celebrity relationships contributed to hurtful experiences she has carried for years.

According to the outlet, the marriage ended in divorce in 2000, with both Kensit and Gallagher moving on personally and professionally.

Gallagher has since remained a prominent figure in British music, while Kensit continued her acting career and focused on family life.
