British singer RAYE takes over American Idol stage with stunning performance
RAYE, who is known for her chart-topping hit tracks, shared the stage with Alicia Keys to put up a show on her song Fallin at the American Idol 2026.
The 28-year-old singer stunned everyone at the show, leaving fans gushing about the performance.
While the two musicians sang together, the online community was of the opinion that RAYE did a better job singing the track.
One of the X users admitted: “I know it might be wrong to say but Raye sounded better on this song than the original.”
Another netizen gushed about her: “She’s so talented,” while a third fan was of the opinion that the Prada hitmaker “didn’t want to outsing Alicia.”
The programme wrapped up its season 24, announcing Hannah Harper to be the winner of the instalment.
Is Raye performing on big screen?
This came after it was confirmed that the WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! crooner will be debuting on the big screen with a role in Lineage.
It is a crime feature which will be based in London under the direction of Yann Demange, according to Variety.
The project will mark the musician’s first scripted dramatic role. However, RAYE has been part of the acting world as she portrayed herself in Netflix’s Black Rabbit.
