Pete Davidson has melted hearts after opening up about life as a first-time dad.
The 32-year-old comic revealed that he and baby daughter Scottie “talk all day” despite her only being five months old.
Pete, who welcomed little Scottie with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt last December, couldn’t stop smiling as he shared sweet details about their bond during a live recording of The Pete Davidson Show podcast in Los Angeles.
He told fellow funnyman John Mulaney that his tiny tot is already showing a big personality.
“She’s really, really communicative,” he laughed.
“She’s trying to talk now. She’ll talk all day, but it’s just ‘la’. So we kind of talk all day.”
The proud dad also gushed over Scottie’s adorable looks, calling her “cute and chunky” and admitting fatherhood has been “so much fun”.
Meanwhile, John, who shares children Malcolm, four, and Mei, 19 months, with actress Olivia Munn also swapped parenting stories with the SNL star during the chat.
He revealed little Mei instantly stops crying whenever music comes on and hilariously “dances to any song”.
Pete has previously spoken about how becoming a dad has changed his outlook on life.
The former TV star admitted he no longer worries so much about pleasing everyone.
“If something works out, cool. If not, I get to hang out with Scottie,” he said.
The loved-up couple also revealed the touching meaning behind their daughter’s name.
Scottie honours Pete’s late father Scott Davidson, the firefighter who tragically died in the September 11 attacks.
But there’s another romantic twist too that the pair revealed their daughter was conceived in Scotland, making the name even more special for the growing family.
