William Shatner, who spent seven decades in acting career, has recently shared life lesson on his 95th birthday.

The Canadian actor, who was born on March 22, 1931, opens up that he learned two important lessons in his 95 years of life.

Taking to X on Sunday, the Star Wars star advises, “At 95, I'm still smokin'! I've learned two things: Never waste a good cigar. Never trust anyone who says you should ‘act your age.’”

He posted two photos of himself to mark his 95th birthday, the first one of himself smiling at the beach and second one he was seen enjoying his cigar.

The advice came days after William revealed he needed surgery following a horse-riding accident that took place last year.

He informed about the surgery news at the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films' 53rd annual Saturn Awards in Burbank, California.

Recalling his accident, the actor said, “I ride the horses that can compete in equine skills, which is fast down and ends on a sliding stop. And the horse that I owned, I came off.”

“She had a habit of going too far, like six inches to the side,” continued William.

The actor remembered riding the horse and then she “went too fast and off he was flying”.

“I’m not a young stuntman anymore. I started to roll but hit the dirt with my shoulder. So, I wrecked my shoulder,” he added.
